I've always considered myself to be a creative person. My early memories from childhood were crafting stories, colouring and dreaming. In highschool I loved art- it gave me joy and it allowed my imagination to soar.
Photography wasn't something that was ever on my radar. It's been something that has planted deep roots in my heart and is continuing each day to grow. As a young mom, I wanted to document our ever changing days and so I bought my first digital camera.
A few years later, I captured a picture of my grandfather with my son. This picture has incredible meaning to me now as my grandfather suddendly passed away a couple of years back. He meant so much to me and our family and I'm so thankful to have this memory for years to come.
Photography has not only allowed me to use my creativeness, it has allowed me to step into the lives of so many to bring joy and memories to last generations.

Meet My Family
I grew up in a tight knit family community. I was always surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family is something that is so important to me.
I now have my own family and my husband, Roelof, and I are busy creating new memories and traditions for our busy, fun filled family of five.
