I don’t think that there can be anything better than having your family and maternity portraits done in the last light of the day. Not only was Melissa a glowing mother to be again, but the gorgeous sun helped to make our session even more beautiful. This session took place last October just when the leaves were beginning to change into their golden colours and when the days were warm and the nights were cool.
The Van Twest family wanted to have their lives documented as a family of three before their next little one joined their family. They picked the perfect time of year for their session. We met at Gibson Hills in Alliston and spent some time exploring and chasing the gorgeous light. I loved how this session flowed and the moments captured make my heart so happy that they will now have these photos to cherish for years to come.
Sweet little N did a great job during our family session together. She loved exploring and collecting all the rocks. About halfway through she had a little break with some Smarties. Photographer Tip: parents its always a good idea to bring a few little snacks along for your littles to help (bribe!) kids to keep going. I was also able to capture a few maternity portraits of Melissa as well. The beautiful gown that Melissa is wearing is hand made by Baby in Vogue.
I know this family is now enjoying life as a family of four. Thank you again Melissa and Andrew for having me document such a special time in your family’s journey. I wish you many blessings as you continue on in raising your little ones and cultivating a life of love and adventure.
