During engagement sessions I always make a point of asking my couples how they met. As I’ve now had the opportunity to hear so many different stories, I can say that no story is a like. Every story is different and unique in their own way. Katie and Adam met over Tinder and their love for one another deepened at a fast rate. Katie and Adam got engaged at home on a Sunday morning while sipping their coffees!
I was able to meet them last fall at Katie’s parents property in Bond Head. We were treated with some gorgeous end of fall light (as you’ll see from the photos!). The property had no shortage of beautiful spots and we utilized as many locations as possible. We were also able to capture some epic shots with Katie’s dad’s classic car. Being able to incorporate important elements into our sessions is always something I’m excited to do.
Katie and Adam’s dog Magnum also joined us for a few images! He cooperated well although he was always on alert because being in the country there’s many distractions including the rabbits that were popping in and out of their secret hiding spots!
We closed out our session getting cozy by a campfire with a vintage Hudson’s Bay Company blanket. They popped some bubbly and enjoyed some quiet moments by the fire.
A number of months have passed since this session, and Katie & Adam’s wedding plans had been delayed a number of times because of all the uncertainty over the last few months! But I did see that they were happily married recently. I’m excited to hear that their love story is now continuing as they journey together on married life!
