Frequently Asked Questions

1. DO WE REALLY NEED AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

Yes!! Think of your engagement session as your trial run for your wedding day. This session will help you get comfortable in front of the camera. It'll also allow you to get to know me more and for me to get to know you as a couple! Honestly, its so much fun! I write more about engagement sessions on this blog post (10 Tips for an Amazing Engagement Session ).

2. I don't know how much time to allot for family photos, what do I do?

I work with you to establish a working timeline for your day. A few months before the wedding we will start working on your timeline for the day. For family photos I recommend around 30 minutes of time. Depending on family size, this generally will be ample amount of time. For family photos, I recommend only selecting your immediate family (parents and siblings) extended family photos can be done later on during the cocktail hour and reception time.

3. I'm eloping and only need a few hours of coverage.

That's great! We can work together and create a custom collection that will best suit your needs for your unique wedding day.

4. What is it rains on my wedding day? What is your back up plan?

I always make sure to have a back up plan when it comes to weather. Having a back up indoor location in the case of torrential rain is something we will talk about in our consultation sessions. I also aim to work quickly and efficiently, and in the event that there is rain, we can always squeeze photos in between heavy downpours. I build enough wiggle room into your timeline to account for these types of situations.

5. When will my wedding day photos be ready?

My contract says 6 weeks but most of my past clients can affirm that I deliver entire wedding galleries within 4 weeks time. Your wedding gallery will be always accessible in an online custom gallery. From this gallery you can download, share, and print your images.
